I hope that in the coming blogs I can share my knowledge and passion about cosmetics, this company and our amazing products and that you fall in love with a new product each week!

A Few weekends ago I had the pleasure of attending the International Make-Up Artist Tradeshow in Los Angeles ( http://www.imats.net/los/los_index.php). As a Make-Up Artist, I was inspired by the many, many people that walked through the sold out Pasadena Convention Center. We were all there for the same reason: we all love cosmetics, whether it be as a professional or a consumer. I took it all in looking at new brands that I’ve never heard of and talking to the seasoned industry leaders about where they came from and what advice they had for me. While walking through the crowds, I became excited about one thing in particular: education. Continuing my education and passing along my knowledge to others is something that I’ve always been passionate about. Here at BeingTRUE, we have always prided ourselves on education and want each of our customers not only to know about the products they are using, but to also know how to use them properly. All of our products are created with you in mind and we want to make sure that you are well informed. If you ever have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us as we are here for you!

Day 2 | 2011-07-07
As we are all enduring a HOT summer, we must also remember not to ignore our beauty routines. I know that as we pack up the car for a family vacation, a trip with the girls, or a quick run to the beach with the kids, we start to forget about our makeup. Being able to change your look for each season is very important. Summer is usually a time for minimalism, but this doesn’t mean to skip your foundation all together! Don’t forget that our Protective Mineral Foundation has an SPF of 17 AND an EPF, environmental protection factor of 95! What does this mean for you? It’s another layer of protection from not only the sun, but also an antioxidant fighting all the free radicals around you. A light layer of foundation is a MUST during summer especially since most of us spend more time outside. It’s a new level of protection with multi-functional benefits.

And we mustn’t forget that while we are protecting our face, we must not forget to protect our sensitive eye area. When you grab your Protective Mineral Foundation, don’t forget to grab your Protective Illuminating Concealer and your Protective Shadow Primer as well. These other two products have the same powerful ingredients as the foundation and is another added protective layer around your eyes. So when you are running down to the beach, while it’s okay to skip a little eye shadow, you mustn’t skip your Foundation, Concealer and Shadow Primer as they are just as important as your sunscreen!

Day 4 | 2011-07-07
Every woman should have a good red lip color to wear when the time calls for it. Muse Pure Lip Color is one of my favorite red lipsticks not only because it’s a perfect cool shade of red, but it also has exotic orchid extract and tee tree adding antioxidant protection for the lip. I tell every woman that they can, and should, wear a red lip from time to time as long as they find their perfect shade.

If I could tell you that there’s one product that helps lift and brighten the eyes without surgery, wouldn’t you be in love? Well, I’m here to let you in on a little secret: Phalaenopsis Eye Shadow is one of my favorite go-to colors! At first glance, it looks very white, but as long as you know where and how to use it, it can be your best friend. With its slight shine, you can put Phalaenopsis along the brow bone for an instant eye lift and add it to the inner corner of the eye area for a quick brightening of the eyes.

This summer is all about color and if you want to change up your routine, start by using Lapis Eye Definer instead of the usual black or brown eye liner. This deep blue eyeliner instantly adds definition to the eye, but also changes up your look without being too dramatic.
