A Few weekends ago I had the pleasure of attending the International Make-Up Artist Tradeshow in Los Angeles ( http://www.imats.net/los/los_index.php). As a Make-Up Artist, I was inspired by the many, many people that walked through the sold out Pasadena Convention Center. We were all there for the same reason: we all love cosmetics, whether it be as a professional or a consumer. I took it all in looking at new brands that I’ve never heard of and talking to the seasoned industry leaders about where they came from and what advice they had for me. While walking through the crowds, I became excited about one thing in particular: education. Continuing my education and passing along my knowledge to others is something that I’ve always been passionate about.
